Casual OOTD: Dark Tones

"A smile is the light in the window of your face that tells people you are at home" -unknown
Wondering how I keep my smile? - Jesus is the center of my joy.
Beautiful Saturday called for a laid back casual look. I was not in the mood for wearing a jacket but I wanted to still keep myself warm so I went for this very thick oversized sweater. This sweater is so warm so I know I will be wearing it a lot in the winter too.

"The world always looks brighter from behind a smile" -unknown (Even though you might be wearing the darkest colors lol.)
Outfit details :
Sweater - Thrifted ( Goodwill)
Jeans - American Eagle
Shoes - Steve Madden
(my cheapest ever - it was on sale for 40, then further marked down on clearance for an additional 50% off and I had a 25% off coupon,  Score!)
Thanks a lot for visiting my blog today. Please leave a comment and share :)

Plaid for Fall : Take 2

For yesterday's Columbus day holiday, i decided to keep it casual since i knew i will be running around. It was an off day for me and so it meant a little study and a lot of window shopping. And since it was not very warm, i decided to add an extra layer to my outfit.
This is one of my favorite blazers, i am surprised and happy it lasted till this fall because i wore it so much last fall and spring. Plaid was not one of the top trends last year but i had a love at first sight with this blazer when i first saw it.

When i think of dressing for a shopping trip, I think of comfort and practicality before anything else. Sweater on skinny boyfriend jeans and flats was my perfect choice for yesterday's shopping trip. The easy slip on of flats was very much needed. As with every of my shopping trips, I always seem wander to the shoes section so i always need my feet to slip in and out easily lol.

Outfit details:
Sweater, blazer and jeans - Thrifted
Sweater and blazer were Goodwill.
Belt - Wetseal
Shoes - H & M

Thank you for visiting me :)
See how happy i am lol

As always dearies, please leave a comment and/or share.
Have a blessed and wonderful week.
XOXO, Love Osy.

Shoes Day Tuesday Deal

Helloooooo, it's ShoesDayTuesday and guess who is celebrating it too... Charlotte Russe.
Well, i just had to make this post to share this even though i am on social media time out. I was doing so well with my studying and schedule for the day when i decided to check my email for a file i was expecting from a friend and BOOM my eyes saw the headline of Charlotte Russe's email in my inbox. I told myself "just take a peek, it's probably just some basic stuff" but unfortunately (i would say), I saw HOT STUFF for even HOTTER PRICES. Check them out - $25 and below:

All the shoes below are from the clearance section and are 16.99 or less. I could not help stealing a look at the clearance, i mean who goes shopping anywhere(in-store or online) and does not look in the clearance section? Not me lol

To my favorite of them all:

Unfortunately my size is sold out. It was love at first site with this shoe. I will keep my eyes open for it. i like the black of it (above) too. The Jeffery Campbell's version of this retails for $178,
If you are still reading this, you can just drop a quick comment right on here and then run over to . Hopefully you see this before midnight  :).

And check out Ebates if you dont already use it - Cash back with EBATES . Dont ever shop online without it.
XOXO, Love Osy.
(This will be my first time buying shoes from them so i pray them come out better than i hope, I am always very careful with shoe shopping so let me know if i should be concerned about anything lol)

Fall 2014 Fashion Trends

Hello lovelies,

Stylediarybyosy is finally ready for fall and the only times there will be a post about summer in the next six months will be on a throwback post. My last post was a goodbye summer post and this is a Welcome to Fall (Autumn to some) post.
I have been in so many stores in the past month (just window shopping though lol) and i have noticed certain trends in almost everyone of them so here are some of the trends -

First up is the Plaid trend.
I specially love this trend. Plaid is so versatile and fashionable. You can rock it with basically anything. In styling some of the pieces here, i decided to focus on making it a student oriented style. Creating this gave me some inspirations for how i want my school fall wardrobe to look like. So needless to say, i might be recreating some of this looks on myself.

Next up is the Shirt Dress and Shift Dress Trend
This group is filled with items on my wishlist. I want some of these dresses so bad. These pieces are great transition pieces: from summer to fall and even to winter. all you have to do is to add some leggings or skinny jeans or some thigh high boots and you are safe in the winter. These can be worn casually with some flats or sneakers for a game night or they can be worn with heels for a more chic look for a lunch or dinner date.

This final picture contains different trends so i will take them one at a time
Trend #3 Top set:- The crop jackets and blazers: These one trend i am not sure i will wear but some of the blazers look so cute that i think you just might catch me in one sometime lol. This trend dominated some of the runways during the just concluded New York Fashion Week.

Trend #4 Middle set:- The cut out shoes(mainly booties): First, i have to say I am in LOVE with these shoes. There as so many styles and they are so cute. I really do not know what to write about them. I wore a wedge cut out today and i felt it's trendy effect on my whole outfit. They are very simple and so stylish. I am aware that a version of them have been around for a long time but what i specially love about these ones is that they have chunky heels and most of them have cap toes perfect for the fall.

Trend #5 bottom set:- The animal print (what i call jungle fashion): We all know this trend is not new but i added it to this list because even as old as it is, it has managed to stay valuable in everyone's wardrobe. Every time i clear out my closet to update my pieces to suit the new season, my animal print skirts and shoes always manage to stay unmoved even though some times they get pushed to the back of the closet. I just added some of the pieces i selected here to my to buy list and hopefully i will get them soon.

So, i know you might not like all of these trends or might have one you are head over heels in love with or you might know a trend that i did not mention, please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. As always, i look forward to reading your veiws.
